Adam Moorhouse
Adam Moorhouse is a Punk
Bitch, Powergamer, and Munchkin. He spends his free time leeching Pr0n, cheating at videogames, and beating his players down into single digit hp. He used to play Magic: the Gathering until all of his opponents realized he was a

David Wu
David has been exposed to D&D since he bought the 1st Edition DM's Guide in 1984, although actually playing in a game didn't occur until the mid-90's. Since then, he's become involved in the RPGA Network, written one Living Greyhawk scenario, and dabbles in forensic science in his spare time.
Fred Golightly
[ed. Fred is jointly running the RPGA games at Strategicon conventions, from which the HOTIE crew has largely disassociated itself due to burnout.]
Jim Vassilakos
Got into RPGs (AD&D & Traveller) back in 6th grade or thereabouts. GM'ed various campaigns up through college, starting/rebooting the UCR Gamers Guild and publishing a fanzine called "The Guildsman" which holds the odd distinction of being the first RPG magazine ever distributed over the Internet. Decided to start the Inland Empire Gamers Guild a few years back, just for purposes of meeting gamers locally, and finally got around to rebooting "The Guildsman", although that was apparently short-lived. As of late, I've been too busy with real life for very much in the way of gaming, however, as I get bits and pieces of free time, I like to work on various RPG-related projects & programs and occasionally contribute articles to Alarums & Excursions. I'm also still running a rather long-lived AD&D campaign, although sessions are somewhat infrequent. Most of my stuff can be found at my homepage at http://members.aol.com/jimvassila.
Loren Dean
Loren Dean is a hotellier living and working in the high desert. A married father of three, he has been gaming for over 20 years. His library of game books is vast and eclectic, including both old standards (Call of Cthulhu) and oddities (Orkworld). He is especially fond of character generation and detailing, and despises players who describe their characters by listing a string of abilities.
O'donna Dean
O'donna Dean is The Wife of a gamer, and mother to three future gamers. Has been gaming for 5 1/2 years after marrying Loren. Enjoys just about any kind of RPG and any card game put out by AEG. Group cook. Will put up with stinky, irritating, opinionated men. Newly christened GM but has already managed to kill a character.
Steve Hough
[ed. Steve hasn't been seen around these parts in quite some time, and it's unclear what his gaming intentions might be.]
Stride
Multi-Class Munchkin/Thespian. A critic is all Stride is, and all he should ever aspire to be. The only time he isn't complaining is when we induldge his fantasy of being a wise, stoic, omnipotent bard of much doom-bringing. The wanna-be goth once tried earning his beer money by painting BattleTech miniatures but never made the big time for years of sulking by candle-light has left his stupid

Walter Christensen
I've discovered that I'm the guy that buys cool new games and never gets around to playing them. Though I maintain a conceptual interest in Delta Green, Shadowforce Archer, GURPS Transhuman Space, and Nobilis, I find that I really only play D&D. Much of the reason for this is a simple lack of time for additional gaming. I am a regular player in Adam's home campaign, and am kicking around ideas for my own home campaign. Until recently I was the RPGA Coordinator for the Strategicon conventions in Los Angeles and, with the rest of the crew, coordinate bimonthly HOTIE GameDays, but decided I love my (future) wife too much to continue with those duties.Outside of gaming I work for the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District as a Project Manager, handling the land use, environmental, and information systems portions of the business. I'm happily engaged to a wonderful woman (Hi Amy!) who handles my gaming with grace. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, am a frequent attendee/participant at various Renaissance Faires in Southern California, and can often be found at the local pub.
